Pandemic Influenza Information

updated 10/22/09

All classes and activities at Kettering College of Medical Arts are operating as normal, and we continue to monitor the H1N1 influenza situation. An H1N1 taskforce led by Dr. Beverly Cobb, Dean for Assessment and Learning Support and director of the Division of Nursing, is meeting regularly to assess the situation at Kettering College.

The college is taking steps to minimize and contain the spread of infectious disease: flyers explaining flu prevention behaviors have been posted in classrooms and common areas; hand sanitizing stations soon will be installed in the same areas; and environmental services staff are cleaning high-traffic areas and high-touch surfaces more frequently.

Visit this page often for current KCMA-related information on pandemic influenza planning and preparedness.
